RS Recruitment Services is assisting a rapidly expanding organisation in the WATER & FOOD STORAGE industry, to recruit a KEY ACCOUNTS REPRESENTATIVE: FIRE PREVENTION based in MIDRAND.

OUR CLIENT IS A PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN COMPANY PROVIDING ESSENTIAL SERVICES ON A GLOBAL SCALE.

Purpose of the position:

To service, retain and grow the client base within the Fire Protection industry. (Full product sales training provided.)

Applicants should be/have the following:

A minimum of 5 years B2B/commercial sales experience in a construction/manufacturing environment.
Fire protection/suppression industry experience, very advantageous.
A strong network of Engineers and Project Managers.
Strong people and project management skills.
Experience with cold calling on clients.
Technically orientated and able to understand engineering jargon.
A proven sales track record.
Able to do sales presentations: written, telephonic, face-to-face and groups using PowerPoint.
Matric certificate.
Sales and/or marketing qualification or similar.
Driver’s license essential.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
Afrikaans/African language an advantage.

Key roles and responsibilities – but not limited to:

Network with existing and potential clients to generate leads.
Maintain relationships with current clients.
Formulate key account plans to secure existing business.
Develop multi-layered relationships on all levels within the client’s organization, including senior management.
Generate reports on weekly activities.

Remuneration:

Remuneration dependent on experience and qualifications, plus, large company benefits, commission on value of sales, company vehicle and cell phone.
