Responsibilities:
• Strong understanding of modern object-oriented frameworks such as Laravel 5 and up, able to take ownership of projects and mentor 2 to 3 junior to intermediate developers.
• Work on various projects such as a marketing automation web application
• Work with the following tech stack: PHP 7, Laravel 5, MySQL, Elastic search, HTML, CSS 3, Bootstrap, Sass, Gulp, and jQuery.
• Use GitLab as a repository and Git for version control.
• Help more junior developers maintain a Yii application as well as a WordPress site
Qualifications and Experience:
• Ability to work in a team and take ownership of projects;
• Minimum 4 years of practical experience with PHP 5.6, 7.0 and up;
• Strong understanding of modern object-oriented frameworks such as Laravel 5 and up;
• Experience with relational database design;
• At least basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
• Good grasp of Git
• Linux experience;
• Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL;
• Experience with NoSQL databases;
• Experience integrating and building RESTful APIs;
• Experience with cache services like Redis or Memcached;
