Position: Linux Engineer

Salary: R 12 000 + Performance Incentive + Sticker Allowance

Purpose of the role

· Responsible for providing day to day support and maintenance on all existing Linux servers within organisation as well as provisioning and setup of new servers as needed. Candidate must be well versed in using Linus on daily basis, be comfortable working with virtualization as well as active directory provisioning with Samba

Requirements and Experience

· 3 to 5 years’ experience as Linus Engineer or similar

· Linux certification beneficial

· Strong understanding and working experience with Linux servers

· Proven analytical and problem solving abilities

· Self-motivated, detail orientated individual

· Fast learner
