HK Enterprises is one of the fastest growing nuts and dried fruit producers &/ intermediaries in the African Union. We are currently looking for (Graduate) Logistics Specialist in the supply chain department.

You will be reporting directly to the COO, working with a busy & high paced team. Background required is either freshly graduated and looking to get experience into the logistics world, or matriculated with warehouse + logistics experience at hand. Being quick on your feet is what it takes excel in this fast-paced FMCG environment!

You will take control of all our warehousing and inter African and European transport. You know how to speed dial expeditors and get our cargo moving. The perfect candidate comes with some warehouse experience, and knows what there is to know about local (& maybe even international) logistics.

Responsibilities & duties
- Supporting the import and export team.
- Working with international clients ensuring that cargo arrives with our partners within the agreed time frames.
- Processing administrative tasks and updating our systems with the relevant information.
- Control our 2nd and 3rd party warehouses in Cape Town, Rotterdam, and Antwerp
- Comparing rates of trucking companies and booking transport directly.
- Working closely to our trade department, your information is vital in getting the next deal going.

Requirements
- Matriculated and has (just recently) obtained a relevant degree/diploma in logistics/transports and wants to get hands-on experience
- Problem solving skills and even better, forward sight to prevent them.
- Resolve basic queries from clients about their transport and warehousing.
- A true all-rounder.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
