An exciting opportunity has come up for Setters! An injection moulding company in Cape Town is looking for a qualified Machine Runner (the person who puts the mould in the machine and gets the machine running) with multi-cavity hot-runner mould experience to join their team.

Candidates should:

Have Multi-cavity Hot-runner experience
Have experience with engineering plastics
Be willing to work day shifts, night shifts, public holidays and weekends (you will be part of a team).
Have good communication skills and the ability to problem-solve
Be of sober habits and on time (own transport is needed)
Be neat, organised, can work in a team and take instructions
Initial responsibilities include:

Hang and remove moulds

Start and shutdown injection moulding machines

Ensure machines run at optimal settings and that parts conform to our strict quality standards

Ensure all aspects of the working environment are kept neat and tidy at all times.
