Our Agriculture Company in Limpopo is seeking to employ a hands-on, energetic Farm Maintenance Manager who has extensive maintenance, technical and management of staff experience.

Requirements:

· At least 6 – 10 years Farm Maintenance Management experience which include:

o Plumbing

o Irrigation Systems – indoor/outdoor

o Electrical

o Technical & Mechanical experience

o Basic Welding

o Farm Equipment – tractors, generators etc.

o Building maintenance

· Planned, Unplanned maintenance and breakdowns

· Workshop, spare parts experience

· Admin – suppliers, quotes, maintenance job cards and reporting

· Must be willing to irregular hours

· Manage staff effective – productivity, work deadlines, KPI

Responsibilities:

· Conduct maintenance inspections : farm, fencing, various buildings, equipment, factory, greenhouse (A-Z)

· Plan and carry out maintenance work and record all work on job cards

· Obtain the best and most cost effective suppliers, obtaining quotes, manage orders, payments, deliveries etc.

· Comply with biosecurity and OHS regulations of the company

· Maintain all admin and reporting documents as per company policies and procedures

· Manage workshop and spare parts including inventory, tools etc.

· in basic electrical work and fault finding
