About the position:
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the ground facilities and maintains school equipment. Duties include scheduling preventative maintenance tasks, reacting to maintenance emergencies, and testing building security systems. The incumbent may also be required to propose appropriate equipment and the supply-needs for the school campus. Previous experience working as a maintenance supervisor, specifically within a school environment is a requirement.
• Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
• Provides supervision and train workers.
• Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
• Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
• Conduct preventative maintenance work.
• Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work and provide feedback.
• Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
• Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
• Ensure facilities are properly secured, guarded, opened, and always locked.
• Assist the Facilities Manager to identify new projects.
• Assist in drafting budget proposal for maintenance.
• Responsible for minor discipline of subordinates.
The candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
• Clear criminal record, PDP (advantageous) and Code 10 License (preferred)
• Previous experience working as a maintenance supervisor, specifically within a school environment.
