Job Description:

Routine maintenance operations
Develop practical maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations
Carry out planned maintenance as per schedules
Book appointments and supervise external contractors for outsourced maintenance operations
Update maintenance schedules based on effectiveness of prior versions
Keep workshop area and tools neat & organised to maintain efficiency
Maintain inventory of tools & equipment
Breakdown support
Repair minor breakdowns on-site
Request and supervise external support for major breakdowns
Investigate and report on root cause of breakdown
Update and modify routine maintenance schedules to minimise breakdowns
Process modifications
Assist with design and implementation of upgrades/modification to process equipment and related facilities
Administrative duties
Develop and maintain cashflow forecasts for routine maintenance operations
Maintain suitable stock levels of frequently used spares/consumables
ISO22000 compliance
Carry out maintenance operations in compliance with required standards

Qualifications:

Minimum qualification N3 in the technical/engineering field
Further qualifications and experience will be an advantage e.g. Electrical (light and heavy)
Computer literate (MS Word & Excel)
Welding (mild steel and stainless steel)
General engineering skills
Drawing (freehand & CAD)
