A vacancy for a Marketing Assistant within Kazang, a division of Main Street, 1723, in Cape Town.

The responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
• Assisting Marketing Manager with daily tasks, i.e. stock management, ordering of stock, uniforms and signage as well as social media management.
• Creation of concepts and campaigns for B2C marketing on our social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Posting, scheduling and community management for our social pages for South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
• Creating and managing a full social media calendar which include internal projects as well as campaigns with our product partners.
• Work closely together with the Marketing Manager and our creative team to create the best campaigns, competitions, incentives, surveys and more.
• Ability to take initiative and generate ideas and solutions from concept to delivery.
• Good working knowledge of Social Media Marketing, Community Management, Scheduling, etc.
In order to be considered for this position the following requirements need to be met:
• Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
• Computer literacy on MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• 2-3 years relevant experience in similar role or Marketing qualification preferable
• Proficiency in the major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Required skills:
• Strong administrative, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
• Developing and maintaining good working relationships with internal team, suppliers and product partners
