Mechanical Design Steel or sheet metal fabrication or Aircraft Fabrication Engineer– Bryanston and Westrand
Mechanical Engineering Degree or Mechanical Diploma
Must have very good previous working experience as a mechanical designer within a product manufacturing engineering company is with Steel or sheet metal fabrication or Aircraft mechanical designing experience great advantage
Minimum 4- 10 years mechanical designing working experience using Solidworks and 3D CAD modelling
Design of mechanical prototype product as well as standard machinery product, components for industrial applications.
Analyse mechanical functionality of systems, including Finite Element Analysis for structural, fatigue, thermal, vibration and acoustics
Must have hydraulic and pneumatic working experience
BOM
Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience gained
Develop manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable company standards using Solid Works
Interface with Customers, Vendors, Production Managers, Procurement for component selection, manufacturing and assembly
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics
Maintain and keeping as built drawings up to date
Specify system components or direct modifications of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
Analyse mechanical functionality of systems, including Finite Element Analysis.
Experience in Reading and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Able to start immediately or within 1 week great advantage
Own transport driver’s license
R20 00- R35 000 Gross- full cost to company per month Gross (which is depending on qualifications and experience)
