Minimum requirements:

Qualified Artisan (Electrical and Mechanical) plus minimum N4 qualification
Matric (Maths and Science)
Trade Test, Diploma (NQF 6+)
Must be in possession of a Code 08 (B) driver’s license
Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG environment
Competence on PLCs (S7)
Recognised Trade Test
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, speed drives, fillers and labellers
Fully competent in both electrical and mechanical
PET Plant maintenance experience (good understanding of preforms, blow moulding, electronic fillers, high speed wrap around labels, packer and palletisers)
Equipment knowledge on Krones packaging equipment advantageous
Experience in dairy industry advantageous
Process knowledge in syrup make-up and service equipment advantageous.
Duties:

Machine availability (Machine Efficiency)
Preventative maintenance schedule adherence
Root cause analysis and maintenance cycle improvements
Coaching operational staff to ensure autonomous maintenance carried out correctly
Housekeeping and Health, Safety, Quality, Hygiene
