Legal Office Administrator

Our client, an established legal firm seeks to appoint an Office Administrator who will be responsible for the various administrative tasks as listed below. Previous experience in a legal environment will be advantageous.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
• Must be fluent (written and spoken word) in Afrikaans and English
• Must have own vehicle with valid drivers license (run errands from time-to-time).
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a secretarial / administrative corporate environment.
• Ability to take initiative and work to deadlines.
• Ms Outlook at an Intermediate or Advance Level (Incl Excel).
• Accurate and attention to detail orientated.
• Must enjoy the pressure of a fast paced and deadline orientated environment.
• Preference will be given to candidates from a legal background.

Responsibilities
• Handle all incoming calls and action accordingly.
• Deal with all incoming visitors to the office; serve refreshments.
• Opening of new client files and maintaining an electronic and paper filing system.
• Scanning of documents and filing accordingly.
• Capturing of Invoices.
• Typing of correspondence as well as handling of incoming emails to be actioned.
• Diary management.
• Assist Director with all administrative / secretarial duties.
• Purchasing of office supplies and consumables.
