A vacancy exists for an Operations Administrator within Card Connect, a division of Main Street 1723 (Pty) Ltd, in Cape Town/ Johannesburg.

The Operations Administrator will report directly to the Operations Director and be responsible for various administrative tasks associated with the Operations department.

The responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

Management of Suppliers
• Analyse the existing costs associated with SIM and Modem suppliers, arrange the return and cancelation of unused sims and equipment and control accounts on an ongoing basis.
• RAM and other Couriers – Manage and reconcile the various courier costs.
• Processing and management of Supplier Orders.

Management of Inactive Merchants and Missing Device stock
• In conjunction with the Retentions team, follow up and resolve Inactive Merchants list as provided by Finance.
• In conjunction with the Stores and Field Service, investigate and resolve missing devices from list as provided by Finance and Debtors.
• Updating of all databases as required.

Stock
• Liaise with the Stores and Business Support staff regarding minimum stock levels of all equipment.

Reporting and Statistics
•Provide weekly / monthly / daily reports wrt the above items.
•Provide weekly statistics for Card Connect Field Services for the Card Connect Manco meeting.

AD Hoc
• Various projects or requests as required by the Business from time to time.

In order to be considered for this position the following requirements need to be met:
• Basic B-Com degree is preferable.
• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Previous experience in Supplier and Stock Management and / or accounting.
