Leading ISP is recruiting for a experienced Operations Manager to join their team:
Responsibilities:
Procurement and Stock
• Project materials procurement cycle
• Negotiate best pricing with suppliers
• Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Stock dispatched accurately
• Minimum stock levels per department
• Stock takes done timeously and accurately
• Correct stock movement process followed
• Accurate stock levels for new projects - accurate timelines
• Correct procedure for handling damaged goods
• Capture all supplier invoices, stock adjustments, warehouse transfers and stock returned
• Warehouse always neat and tidy
Fleet
• Complete fleet due diligence procedure implemented and maintained
• Fleet costs as low as possible
Helpdesk
• Manage team leaders - monitoring of calls, systems, tickets and schedules
• Required resources regarding network statuses updated
• Manage interdepartmental escalations
• Manage cancellations - saving rate of cancellations, post-mortem of cancellations
• Supervise network monitoring and incident response performance
• Prepare and submit status reports to customers and management
Installations
• Ensure quality of installations
• Oversee the preparation of installations and final as-built drawing packages
• Effective planning of installation teams, schedules and work standards
• Effective interdepartmental communication and workflow
• High profile clients and projects
• Installation performance in accordance with: SOW, Schedule, Budget, and Quality
• Statement of Work (SOW) and Schedule of Record
Staff Management and Training
• Company relevant training through suppliers
• OHS training for departments - bookings and payments
• Accurate and timely weekly/monthly reporting
• Code of conduct and high standard of ethics towards clients
• Performance reviews on quarterly basis with team
Minimum work experience & qualification
• Advanced wireless technology experience 2-3 years
• Advanced Mikrotik technology experience 2-3 years
• Relevant ICT/business/operations qualification
