Job Description:

Manage outsourced Sales & Merchandising function end to end in the specified region. Maintains contact and liaison with regional Sales Agents and Customer.
Ensures delivery of 3rd party KPI’s, reports and course corrects action as required.
Handle sales incentive budget management, and calculations of incentives earned
Delivers break through executional excellence in quality and speed for all initiatives including NPDs, promotional activity, availability and distribution of the company portfolio.
Ensures customer planogram rollouts are managed efficiently, correct and on time.
Liaison between Sales Agents and stores on adequate merchandising hours and adherence to agreed route list.
Scrutinizes and dissects regional KPI feedback for accuracy and aligns corrective measures for discrepancies.
Aligns with logistics and sales on order and delivery sequencing
Regular visits the trade to review execution compliance & standards, trends, customer specific issues and competitor activities. Feedback to be communicated to relevant stakeholders. Responsible for Trade visits to the respective regions.
Provide continuous training at store level and in the regions for both dedicated and syndicated outsourced 3rd Party reps and merchandisers
Build relationships with key franchise / independent trade customers to drive sales and off shelf activities.
Identify and feedback on instore opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of commerce degree or suitable tertiary qualification/experience
2 – 3 years’ experience working in similar environment
Line management experience preferred
Computer literate i.e. proficient in Microsoft office (Advanced Excel, Power point, Word)
Must be energetic, a self-starter and resilient.
Effective conflict management
Strong negotiations skills
A “can do” attitude/spirit.
Must be an excellent verbal & written communicator with impressive presentation skills.
