Our client, a dynamic software developer in the financial services industry, based in Bedfordview, urgently needs an energetic, experienced and professional receptionist to start immediately or as soon as possible!
Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 depending on experience

Purpose of position:
Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers. Support other staff as well as procurement of office supplies

Requirements:
Matric
3 years or more experience in a medium sized company dealing with a small switchboard and corporate clients as well as supporting management in day to day secretarial duties
Experience in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is important
The ideal candidate must be presentable, professional and reliable
Must have own transport

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
Take and relay messages
Provide information to callers
Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable
Receiving deliveries and dealing with couriers
Receiving and coordinating suppliers for repairs and maintenance
Direct persons to correct destination
Answer questions about the organization and provides callers with address, directions and other information
Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
Provide general administrative and clerical support such as filing, photocopying, and collating
Prepare correspondence and documents
Receive and sort mail and deliveries
Personal assistant duties to 4 directors
Schedule appointments
Maintain appointment diary electronically
Organize conference and meeting room bookings
Co-ordinate meetings and organize coffee and catering
