Process Design Engineer, Minerals Processing

We are looking for a Process Engineer with P&ID and C&I design experience to join an Engineering Design and Project Management Team.
• Ideally AutoCAD software experience.
• Experience in minerals processing or materials handling environments an advantage.
• His/her main function would be to develop P&ID’s based on current flow sheets, control sheets, electrical & instrumentation lists & equip specific flow sheets & O&M Manuals in multiple layers.
• Would also be involved in writing the control philosophy for programming of plant and HAZOP requirements.
• Must also be able to identify potential bottlenecks or sub optimal designs that would affect our equipment’s performance.
• Will also be involved in on-site process evaluation function.
• Must be physically fit enough to pass the medicals required for on-site visits etc.
• Able to reference work done for Anglo American would be an advantage.
• Location Parktown Johannesburg.

• Contract initially, with the prospect of future long-term employment.
