RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER for an international concern. Position based in KwaZulu-Natal.

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
BSc Chemical Engineering Degree.
5 - 10 years process safety experience in a high paced chemical manufacturing environment, preferably in a batch processing reaction chemistry environment.
Person will be required to manage all process engineering, process safety management and assigned capex projects for the manufacturing facility to ensure statutory, legal and corporate compliance and ensure products are manufactured to meet corporate and customer requirements.
Maintain and improve process engineering performance.
Effective management of capex projects.
Maintain and improve process safety.
Implement continuous improvement and project management initiatives.
Maintain and improve SHERQ manufacturing performance.
Support group level process safety initiatives.
