Procurement Clerk - Manufacturing - Pinetown | eThekwini - Durban
Salary: R15-17K CTC

Purpose of Position:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Procurement Clerk to be based in the surrounding Pinetown area of eThekwini, Durban, Kwazulu Natal. This is a permanent position reporting to the Procurement Section in Charge, and carries the primary responsibility of requesting quotations, entry level negotiations, VCRD creations and purchase order creations.

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12
• 2 years’ experience within a similar role
• Manufacturing, Freight, Shipping industry experience advantageous
• Own reliable transport

Job Requirements:
• Sourcing new suppliers
• Negotiations
• VCRD creations
• Zero penalties or delays in Freight goods
• Updating and reporting on pending indents
• Updating and reporting on pending purchase orders
• Monitoring of prices and usage of consumables and advising responsible persons
• Conducting supplier audits
• Problem solving and assisting in case of absenteeism
• Monthly kaizen submissions
• Invoice check and submission to accounts
• Freight forwarder documentation (checking, sign-off & submission)
