Our client a leader in their field of metal component manufacturing is looking for a Qualified Artisan with Production Management experience.
  
Requirements:        
Grade 12/Matric and a production Diploma or similar
Red Seal Qualified Boiler Maker
8 years Production management experience gained in the Metal industry
Understand Lean manufacturing principles
Management experience – managing a team
Administration skills
ERP System experience (Syspro and MS Office)
 
Duties:                      
Planning, coordination and control of the manufacturing processes
Ensure that orders are produced to deadline
Oversee production
Manage the Production Team
Control non production figures
Effective housekeeping
Health and Safety
Justify capital expenditure, material resources and additional employee requirements.
 
Other:                         
Good Business acumen; Strong managerial, leadership and communication skills and a sound SYSPRO knowledge.
