RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced PV SOLAR (ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS) INSTALLER / TECHNICIAN for a well-established Pietermaritzburg based company, position based in Pietermaritzburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Good English skills (speak, read and write competently). Afrikaans an added advantage.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Degree/Diploma/certificates or similar qualifications in electrical engineering field.
Experience and references in electrical and/or electronic fields.
Previous experience in installation of PV Solar.
Manage and work within a team of installers.
Analyze electrical systems.
Conduct faultfinding; testing and repairs on PV equipment.
Must be physically strong and comfortable working at heights.
Installation and commissioning of PV Solar systems.
Including the setting of Inverter and battery parameters and synchronization of elements of a PV Solar System.
Troubleshooting by assessing historical data on systems and identifying and correcting faults.
A certain degree of system design experience.
