QHSE Manager required in Centurion to conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and ensure zero incidents. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Safety Management, SAMTRAC or related; All related and required Statutory QHSE Trainings and Certifications; 5 to 10 year's working knowledge and experience within a Safety Department/Environment. Heavy industry experience and solid knowledge and understanding of QHSE legislation.

Responsibilities
Quality Functions
• Organize and support process management projects.
• Controlling and reporting of the status of the management system EtQ and the controlled documents.
• Administration of internal management systems EtQ (CAPA, Audit Management and Document control).
• Analyze, describe and visualize processes.
• Conduct performance management.
• Support and advise process owners in setting up and developing quality documents.
• Support and advise process owners and organization in developing processes.
• Perform KPI reporting (performance management).
• Apply common quality and risk management techniques and methods (e.g. FMEA)
• Provide quality or process management training on global and regional level.
• Work actively on transferring Lessons Learned.
• Facilitate working groups with quality or process topics.
• Ambassador to deploy Q-mindset in local Operations and Service Functions
• Support local subsidiaries in implementing global standards
Health, Safety and Environment Functions:
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments as required to identify and ensure zero incidents/accidents within the Company.
• Assist with the formulation of emergency plans for natural disasters, industrial action; fire, explosions and bomb threats
• Compiling of health and safety files according to specifications provided by customers.
• Ensure that new employees receive induction training and undergo medical examinations.
• Management of personal protective equipment.
• Compile and submit annual health and safety report regional report.
• Support industrial services by managing monitoring and measuring equipment.
• Provide administration support to industrial services for renewal of qualifications for inspectors.
• Monthly visits to customer site for inspection and update of SHE files.
• Attend customer meeting when required.
• Compile and submit annual sustainability reports.
• Investigation of incidents and reporting to the regional office.
• Support Business Streams to maintain relevant accreditation
• Ensuring overall Company compliance to all HSE regulations
• Reporting of any safety risks and/or hazards to Management
• Stopping of any unsafe acts or processes
• Development and review of Company policies and procedures to align and comply with legislation
Audit Functions:
• Preparing the audit plan and ensuring that it reaches Back Office and the customer at least 10 working days before the audit is scheduled to start (Exception: in the case of short-notice audits, audit plan to be sent to Back Office as soon as possible.)
• Allocating work to the audit team in accordance with the assignments given on the audit schedule • Preparing audit documents and personal audit working documents in accordance with the internal requirements of TÜV Rheinland
• Conducting audits (Pre- Audit, Certification, Surveillances and Recertification) as per the auditor information.
• Act as primary contact with the audit client, representing both TÜV Rheinland and the audit team; chair all audit meetings; prevent/resolve conflict between audit team members and auditees
• Maximize use of audit resources, by organizing and directing audit team members and reassigning tasks as necessary
• Submitting completed audit packs to Back Office within five working days of the end of the audit
• Responding to pack-related queries from Back Office, including submission of corrected or missing audit documents, within 2 working days
• In cases where there are nonconformities, liaising with the audit client regarding close out; performing re-audits if required; submitting nonconformity packs to Back Office.
• Making recommendations to the Certification Body regarding certification, continued certification, or suspension/withdrawal of certificates
• Responding to customer questions relevant to the audit and certification processes
• Informing the Certification Manager of customer complaints, and raising these on the CAPA system • Attending staff meetings, auditor experience exchanges, customer focus days, and training sessions, as required by the Business Stream Manager and/or the Certification Manager
• Coaching and mentoring Auditors-In-Training and Lead Auditors-In-Training
• Performing monitoring of other auditors, as necessary.
• Perform all RBI systems reviews and submit the report to RBI administration in time.
• Take part in the certification decision for initial certification and recertification audits.
• Any other ad hoc tasks as requested by Management

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Safety Management, SAMTRAC or related
• All related and required Statutory QHSE Trainings and Certifications
• 5 to 10 year's working knowledge and experience within a Safety Department/Environment
• Heavy Industry would be preferred
• Solid knowledge and understanding of QHSE legislation
