Location: Durban, KZN
Salary: R30k – R40k per month

About the Role:
A leading Business Intelligence Consultancy with offices across Africa offering Business Intelligence solutions and strategy consulting is seeking an experienced, well-rounded Qlik Sense Consultant for an opportunity in the Durban South area.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years Qlik Sense experience essential
Oracle Data Warehouse experience highly advantageous
Extensive experience with Qlik Sense, SAS and other BI tools
Experienced in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense.
Proficient in front-end development and know visualization best practices.
Strong database designing and SQL skills.
Experienced in MS SQL Server, Oracle etc.
Able to translate complex and advanced functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
Experienced in data integration through extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
Strong MS Excel skills
Strong data modelling / reporting skills
Consulting experience an advantage

Duties:
Hands on experience in Qlik Sense development, dash boarding and data modelling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques.
Understand and evaluate customers’ business and Business Intelligence requirements
Tracking and following up to resolve impediments and external dependencies for the development team
Project management
Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology and workflow
Identify source data, source systems and data mapping
Establish and build relationships with customer stakeholders
Application and Environment Overview
Understand and evaluate customers’ business and Business Intelligence requirements
Develop and deploy innovative, high quality Business Intelligence solutions at customer sites
Project manage the delivery of Business Intelligence solutions from customer engagement to post-implementation support.
Identify source data, source systems and data mapping required to deliver the Business Intelligence layer (solution).
Establish and build relationships with customer stakeholders
Advise customers on options available for display and analysis of information
Proactively identify potential BI solutions within the existing client systems
Negotiate project scope with customers
Present BI solutions to potential customers
Generic BI tool training
Customer training on specific BI Solution
Maintain customer BI solutions
Install BI software at Customer sites
Design BI Solutions that are creative, flexible, scalable and re-usable based on best practice themes and guidelines
Deliver BI projects on time, within budget and at high quality
