A well established Building Contractor in South Africa currently require a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them on exciting projects in and around Gauteng. Minimum requirements include a BSc or BTech degree in Quantity Surveying or a National Diploma in Building Science coupled with 5-10 years of experience gained within a Construction Company or PQS firm. Proficiency in CCS and MS Office is required for this role. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the re-measurement of work and subcontractor claims and payments; the preparation of monthly valuations and final accounts; preparation of cost reports, etc.
