SUMMARY

We are looking for a quantity surveyor with a strong background in solar PV installation and design. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and make a real impact in the solar energy industry. The ideal candidate will have strong budget management and communication skills and will be passionate about solar energy and its potential to make a difference in the world

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overseeing and managing all aspects of solar PV projects, including budgeting, contracts, and project progress
Evaluating tenders and negotiating with contractors and subcontractors
Providing advice on commercial and contractual matters
Coordinating with project staff and specialists to ensure project goals are met
Reporting regularly on project progress and status
Maintaining accurate records of costs, labor, materials, and subcontractors
Supplying all necessary information to the general manager and managing director for review the final account.
Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.
Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales.
Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
Commercial vetting of sub-contractor tenders and contracts.
Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
Able to work well within a team-based environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must have BSc (Quantity Surveying) qualification or similar
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience, preferably in the Solar Industry.
