Our automotive Blue Chip client based in Germiston is looking to employ a qualified Recruitment Officer.

Salary R25K – 28K basic (Depending on experience) plus company car, fuel

Pension and medical aid.

Minimum Experience

3-5 years recruitment experience

Previous experience within a recruitment agency would be an advantage

In-house recruitment experience within a multi-national company

Previous experience in e-recruitment

Minimum Qualification

Matric essential

Relevant Tertiary qualification would be advantageous

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Obtain necessary approval on job description for vacancies
Having strategic discussions with the Hiring manager to ensure adequate understanding of the needs and expectations of the vacancy
Advertise available vacancy on respective job portals and distribute to internal staff
Source best suitable candidates.
Headhunting, Sourcing and attracting candidates by using job boards, social media, agencies, talent database, Universities etc.
Screening and shortlisting of applicants
Scheduling interviews and briefing candidates regarding position
Conduct interviews were necessary
Arrange for relevant checks (Credit Checks / Criminal Clearance / Qualification Verification / Driver’s License qualification)
Provide feedback to candidates regarding their applications
Recommendation on recruitment of new staff and amendments to adverts and job specs.
Make & negotiate offers to selected candidates.
Accountable for successful on-boarding of new recruits, from offer acceptance to completion of induction to ensure a meaningful and positive candidate/new recruit experience.
Continuous improvement of the recruitment process to ensure a lean process.
Build and maintain relationships with all dealers throughout the recruitment process to ensure proper communication and feedback at all times
Developing interview guides were necessary
Coordinating the assessments and the communicating of it to the candidates
Identify challenging vacancies and investigate the best recruitment approach for them
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
Manage & communicate with recruitment agencies currently on PSL in line with Kia terms and standards, brief them on the positions, act as their point of contact for receiving resumes & feedback and communicate with job boards
Act as gatekeeper against other recruitment agencies
Make sure all recruitment procedures are completed in line with company policy
Produce/assist with recruitment reports as and when required by management
