Managing the region by practicing sound business principles in accordance with the Agency Franchise Distribution (AFD) business governances and the region's business plan.

This is a regionally focused role that forms part of the AFD EXCO team that
is responsible for the vision, strategy and direction for AFD.
Source, support, manage and grow the Agency Franchise model within PF.

Develop, communicate and execute a regional AFD strategy in alignment with the overall AFD/PF business strategy.
Source, negotiate and recruit new franchisees.
Facilitate smooth on-boarding processes and effective operations.
Monitor /manage risks, financials and compliance of all franchises.
Support operational effectiveness of franchises/Franchise Principals.
Drive and attain business profitability/sales targets.
Leadership and people management.

Sound Financial Services experience at a senior level within the corporate environment.
Preferably worked within a Sales and Distribution environment.
Sound management and leadership experience.
Broad and significant Financial Services Industry knowledge/understanding.
Financial instruments, indicators and market knowledge.
Financial Services Product Knowledge of competitors).
Distribution Strategy.
Alternative distribution multi-tied models/remuneration structures (i.e.: Franchise).
Market and client segmentation knowledge.
Financial management, expense and budget management; basic financial statements.
Risk management.
Advice led processes and practices.
Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge within Financial Services
Good general legal technical knowledge.
Leadership and management principles and governances.
Sales and marketing principles, marketing and segmentation model (incl. Value propositions).
Performance management and coaching.
Business acumen and entrepreneurship.
Franchise contracts (FP and Agent contracts)
