Seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a company based in Boksburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Gauteng sales area as well as managing the sales team responsible for selling production line equipment such as industrial continuous ink jet printers for batch & date coding onto FMCG goods, label applicators in an industrial application etc. We are looking for a strong candidate with an excellent track record in sales as well as proven management experience. Minimum requirements: 10 years successful field sales experience to industry, 5 years’ experience in managing a sales team, Grade 12 School qualification, computer literacy and good administrative skills, additional qualifications will be an advantage, technical knowledge required, but only to a level of understanding technology in machinery very similar to printers, copiers, conveyors etc, own transport as a large amount of local travel is involved and work environment will be mainly manufacturing plants, factories, packaging plants etc. Main responsibilities: Maintain own sales target for dedicated area on all technologies, Maintain sales targets for sales personnel in their respective areas on all technologies, Successful expansion of new areas, Successful securing of new key customers & target industries, Retain existing key customers, Leadership, motivation, training & assessment of general performance of sales team, Chair weekly national sales meetings, Manage & guide sales personnel with prospective customers and general sales management duties. Package offered: R553K per year made up as follows, Basic salary: R 30,000 per month x 13, Car Allowance: R 7,745 x 12, Medical: R 2,700 x 12 (Average for family of 4), Pension: R 3,150 x 12 (10.5% of basic). Extras provided such as laptop, cell-phone, company fuel, company toll fees & R15,000 per annum maintenance on vehicle.
