A service company in Johannesburg has a vacancy for a Regional Sales Manager

JOB FUNCTION
To manage and lead the regional sales team in order to achieve budgeted sales targets, and to grow and develop the customer base.

EDUCATION
Grade 12
A degree in Marketing/Business would be an advantage

EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years’ experience in a Sales Management position in a service industry

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls.
• Meeting planned sales goals.
• Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
• Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
• Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
• Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
• The ongoing training of salespeople.
• Developing the sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.
• Promoting the organization and products.
• Understand customers’ needs and grow customer relationships
