Registered Nurse - Psychiatric
Location: Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route, Western Cape

Job Description:
Our client is searching for a seasoned Registered Nurse to join their team at their highly specialized addiction center dealing with substance abuse, eating disorders and mental health issues for international patients. The incumbent must be willing to fit into the learning culture and be willing to share new ideas or techniques. The center is all about patient centered care and the incumbent must have a passion for helping people and thinking out of the box. The incumbent will be responsible for all medical requirements of the patients, including medication (dispensing/ordering). Report writing and notes on an IT system. Rounds at night and managing 2 to 3 carers on shift. The nurse is essentially responsible for all during her shift. Must be able to work well within the current team of nurses and specialists as well as be able to work independently.
Must be able to hit the ground running and go.

Responsibilities:
High command of English
Relevant qualification as Registered Nurse with psychiatric
Valid Sanc
Previous experience in private sector
Experience with in-patient settings
Previous experience with substance abuse and eating disorders a must
Previous experience in psychiatric setting a must

Working hours: Approximately 16 shifts per month (both day and night shifts as per staff schedule)
