Retail Area Manager – Knysna (Garden Route)
One of our large upmarket retail classic ladieswear clients based in Knysna are currently looking for a Mature Area Manager for their 3 Knysna Branches (Thesens Island, Quays Waterfront and Knysna Mall) with experience to start as soon as possible.
Salary: R10 000 to R 13 000 depending on experience and qualifications. (Incentive available on stores achieving Monthly target)

Requirements:
Matric
At least 5 years’ experience in retail as Area Manager/Store Manager
Must have extensive retail boutique experience
Own transport & valid unendorsed license
Must be computer literate
Bilingual (Afrikaans & English, read, write, speak)
Well spoken
Presentable

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
It is the responsibility of the Area Manager to know all new and existing ranges, styles and products in store.
All two stores are to be identical in look, merchandising and standard company policy and procedure
Daily stock audits are to be checked on the current day and when last in store
Marketing and sales
Check store cleanliness and ensure that it is inviting to customers;
Provide suggestions to improve sales, and Monitor store targets daily and keep staff focused on sales.
Staff Management
Participates in training to maintain high levels of customer service in stores;
Train all new staff and ensure staff are signed once competent;
Ensure all admin required by Head Office are up to date in Knysna region.
