Robben Island, Cape Town: COMPLIANCE UNIT MANAGER
Duration: 4 MONTHS CONTRACT
Job Purpose: Effective Contract Management, the performance, maintenance and monitoring of contracts, the development of Supply Chain Management policies and procedures, to ensure optimum compliance on Supply Chain Management prescripts and regulations for organization.
Minimum Requirements:
-BEE candidate preferred
-Matric / Grade 12
-Bachelor’s Degree obtained, preferably in Logistics Management, Cost Management Accounting, Supply Chain, Finance or Law (B.Com Finance or B.Com law preferred)
-Articles towards CASA completed
-6 to 10 years practical experience in supply chain management a must (preferably in Government sector)
-Excellent understanding and interpretation of Supply Chain Management practice, prescripts and guidelines from National Treasury Department of Arts and Culture
-Valid driver’s license
-Understanding of BEE legislation and financial management
-Experienced in strategic sourcing total cost of ownership, Procurement value chain, Supply chain, understanding integrated supply chain
-Understanding of Insurance company operations
-Computer literate in MS Office, Project Management Systems, Asset Management systems and Data Base Systems
-Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise at various levels
-Strong analytical, strategic and creative problem-solving skills
-Ability to thrive in fast paced environment managing multiple projects and thigh deadlines
-Good project planning and organizing skills
-Ability to function independently when required, act proactively and participate in strong team environment

Duties:
-Conduct performance assessment of the physical supply chain
-Contracts management for the organization, monitoring, maintenance and performance of all contracts
-Develop, implement and review Supply Chain Management policies and delegations
-Identify internal Supply Chain Management weakness, propose recommendations, implementation and monitoring thereof
-Continuous assessment of compliance matters identified by internal and external auditors, National Treasury and the various regulations and Acts which impacts on Supply Chain Management
-Manages resources and risk
-Promote and achieve quality outcomes
Salary: R 42 000.00 – R 58 000.00 gross
