A company in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg is looking for an Account Manager - OPTICS

Job Description:
The development of the company’s market, by visiting clients to promote and sell products and services which the company offers, and managing the daily product activities.

Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in a product related field (Optometry/Ophthalmology), or a Business Management Degree/Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in the company’s related market (optics/ophthalmology), and/or demonstrated management, sales and marketing potential
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel extensively in Gauteng (SA) and overseas


Products:
OPHTHALMIC Devices (Medical Products)


Summary- duties/responsibilities:

• Contact and establish relationships with new and existing customers
• Participation in congresses, conferences;
• Arranging and performing demonstrations, presentations, equipment; installations and customer training
• Administrative work required: quote preparation, order processing, weekly time schedules, prospect reports and market analysis
• Develop the company’s market by visiting clients to promote and sell products and services the company offers and manage the daily product activities
• Meet sales targets

Salary is negotiable depending on experience
