We are now in search for a Sales Executive. This is the ideal position for someone who is results driven, self motivated and an activator. Hygiene and etiquette along with an excellent command for languages is of paramount importance. This is a great opportunity for someone looking at being at the helm of luxury destinations and tourism in South Africa.

Upon appointment candidates will be required to possess and have these qualities and attributes as apart of their experience and knowledge.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Key market segment: Production and Corporate (includes banqueting/meetings)
Beneficial Corporate & Governmental Market Segments
Find new business whilst maintaining existing relationships with current clients to maximize hotel revenue/sales.
Responsible for maximizing revenue in key areas of responsibility i.e. Production and Corporate which includes banqueting, bar and restaurants.
Promote and actively sell promotional activities at the Hotel to increase sales and customer retention.
Assist in developing and implementing the sales & marketing plan for the hotel.
Build an accurate and effective database of current and potential guests/accounts and categorize database based on production and potential.
Maintain accurate and up to date information on events happening at CTICC and competitors.
Handle various segment accounts for the hotel and maximize revenue generation from these accounts through cold calling and relevant required face-to-face appointments per week.
Attend networking functions on behalf of the hotel.
Conduct site inspections for all market segments.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Sales Executive experience (Minimum 3 years hotel or hospitality industry sales experience)
Good understanding of Production and Corporate
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work without supervision
Team orientated
Goal orientated
Results & target driven
Own vehicle and driver’s licence
