Sales Representative – FMCG Bakery | Johannesburg Gauteng
Salary: R12 000.00 Per Month + Commission

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Sales Representative from the FMCG and Bakery industries for a permanent position based in Johannesburg South, Gauteng. The purpose is to drive sales, create brand awareness and identify and support new and existing clients. You will serve as the point of contact between the business and its clients and have a range of products and services of which to market and ensure client satisfaction by closing deals.

Purpose of Position:

The objective of the sales representative is to sell the company's products by identifying leads, educating prospects on products and providing existing customers with exceptional support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric; Bachelor’s Diploma / Degree in business, sales, marketing advantageous
• Own Transport; Laptop (non-negotiable) (based in Johannesburg South)
• Basic + High Commission structure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven work experience as a Sales Representative in FMCG, Bakery industry (internal sales looking to get on the road welcome to apply)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Professional, well presented and well spoken
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Duties:

• Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through feedback
