WORK EXPERIENCE - QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Must have a university degree. BSc in Industrial Engineering specialized in Electricity / Bachelor of Commerce or similar.
Must have worked in a similar position for a minimum of 2 years in sales with customer exposure and visits, negotiating and closing deals, preferably with experience in South Africa with photovoltaic products.
Should have knowledge in local content and BBEEE.
Preferably with knowledge in African grid codes and existing local regulations. Especially from South Africa and preferably also the rest of the countries of Africa.
Ideally with experience in negotiating and drafting contracts and agreements.
It will be taken into account the knowledge of suppliers, customers and companies of the sector.
Knowledge in medium voltage, PV solar sector, design and configuration of photovoltaic systems.
High level of English language, both spoken and written is a must (negotiation level).
Availability to travel frequently and visit customers face to face.
Driving license

DUTIES:

Identifying business opportunities.
Identifying and monitoring all the tenders and projects within South Africa and rest of Africa (public and private). Control and monitor these opportunities strictly, and report through CRM system.
Identification, creation and maintenance actively relationships, clients and alliances. Visiting clients often in person is required.
Develop and track commercial offers. Development technical-commercial proposals.
Help with marketing activities.
Frequent analysis of our competitors in our market: prices, products and services.
Negotiation of contracts and agreements with customers and suppliers including commercial and contractual terms.
Attract, plan, organize and manage the RFQ until finalised, with the respective analysis where the technical compliance is ensured as well as the resources that are needed.
