RedCat Recruitment is URGENTLY seeking a suitably qualified and experienced SENIOR ACCOUNTANT for an international concern - position based in the Cape Town area.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
BCompt / BCom Degree in Accounting.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Excel skills is essential.
Working experience on Accpac accounting package a strong advantage.
3 years signed off articles (SAIPA/AGA/SAICA).
Person must have an active membership with the SAIPA/AGA (minimal).
Processing up to trial balance.
General ledger reconciliations.
Management accounts.
Intercompany loan management including interest calculations.
Stock management and maintaining asset register.
Clearing account management.
External loan account management.
Online banking (loading and releasing payments).
VAT201 and EMP201 calculations and returns.
Record and prepare cash flow forecasts with the Financial Manager.
Payroll journals and reconciliations.
Assist the Financial Manager with audit preparation.
Provide guidance to team members where required.
