• Respond to agent/customer enquiries
• Create & Manage Accurate and Detailed Excel Quotes
• Generate sales to designated agents
• Debt Collection for non-term agents
• Manage, Coordinate and Travel with Groups when required
• Agent Invoicing and payment of suppliers (when needed) to be done accurately and timeously
• Meet Sales targets
• Constant building on knowledge and keeping up to date with changes and developments in the industry
including product and general information
• Account Management
• Design programmes for existing and new clients
• Ensure and maintain good relations with clients and agencies
• Travel with groups and assist with on-site coordination when required
• Maintain and increase gross profits on programmes
Requirements 1. REQUIRED MIN.EDUCATION / TRAINING:
• Matric with Maths (at least standard grade) and Computer Literate (Microsoft office, email, internet)
• Proven English literacy – read, write and speak fluently
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel
2. REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
• 8 years in the travel and tourism industry, specializing in incentive inbound tourism
• Experience in handling customer relationships and developing & promoting product
• Experience in handling customer relationships
3. ADDITIONAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism and certificate in management practices
• Working knowledge of TourPlan and WISH or similar booking/ operating system
• In depth knowledge of Southern Africa, specifically Cape Town, Sun City, the bush (Kruger & Sabi Sand)
and Zambia.
• Knowledge of Botswana, Mozambique, Mauritius, Namibia, Kenya & Tanzania an added advantage
• Personal or educational travel experience.
