Educational requirements & experience

• Completed Grade 12 (NSC)
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a Networking role.
• Relevant Aruba Associate or Aruba Professional Certifications
• Management of multiple WAN link environments

Technical requirements

• Aruba ClearPass (Essential)
• Aruba Airwave (Essential)
• FortiGate
• Strong background in HP Aruba network switches, routers, firewalls etc.
• MS Office Suite (Including Visio)
• Track record of good customer service
• Planning and forecasting skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Willingness to travel
• Learning agility

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & management ARUBA ClearPass (Essential), ARUBA Airwave, and FortiGate.
• Provision of daily network admin in multiple network environment (LAN, WAN, wireless and satellite)
• Ensure wireless standards are in accordance with company policy.
• Network address assignment, assignment of routing protocols and routing table configuration
• Resolution of network user problems, network performance statistics, diagnostic information & site surveys
• Design and maintain all the Network and Wireless solutions as per standards.
• Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, and other Network Devices.
• Ensure reliable network connectivity on all networks within company.
• Administer equipment, hardware & software upgrades
• Perform network design & capacity planning
• Conduct research on network products, services, protocols & standards in support of network procurement
• Provide guidance to team in the company
• Manage ISP & internet connections
• Provide solutions to IT related challenges in the company
