Senior Sales Consultants - Worcester
Identify prospects for sales of office and communications machines and equipment in the Industry.
Source and develop client relationships and referrals.
Develop a database of leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, email, and networking.
Negotiate sales with prospective clients for office equipment.
Have and demonstrate the requisite technical selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of pricing required to function effectively in this position
Develop a business plan for the allocated area of responsibility in conjunction with the Sales Manager, which details the activities that the incumbent will perform in order to meet or exceed the agreed sales targets
Maximize all opportunities to increase sales and the company’s market share
Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
Work within the marketing and support teams for the achievement of service goals, customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities and rendering such reports as may be required from time to time
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
The incumbent is required to meet at least the following requirements:
Have relevant sales experience of at least 2/4 + years or more
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Willingness to travel and work in a team of professionals.
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
Strong face to face cold selling skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
At least a matriculation certificate and preferably a tertiary level of education in a relevant discipline
