Senior Server Engineer position is available with an exciting company in Stellenbosch. The client is looking for someone with strong experience in SQL skills, leadership characteristics, and high sense of urgency, self-motivated and up for a challenge.

Responsibilities:
• As part of a permanent on-site team the Senior Server Support Engineer will provide technical support mainly involving Windows 2008 R2/2012, Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy, Lync, SQL Server, VMware and backup technologies. Knowledge and experience with networking configuration and support will also be advantageous.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree or relevant Diploma
• 4+ years working experience as a server engineer
• Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies
• Hands-on experience in defining Server hardware and software builds
• VMware ESX or vSphere
• Backup management
• SQL Management
• Antivirus software management
• Firewall management
