SEO Specialist V&A Waterfront Cape Town EE Position

Our client in V&A Waterfront Cape Town is looking for a SEO Specialist with 2-3 years’ experience in dealing and managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, such as link building and keyword strategy to increase ranking on all major search networks and to ensure that the client consistently ranks top on Google search results. You need a certificate as Certified Usability Analyst CUA.

Minimum Requirements
• Web Development Diploma
• Desktop Support Diploma
• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) Certificate
• Minimum 3 years working experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Review, update key words, meta tag data & target them appropriately, clean up underlying HTML code, ensure website can be crawled and read by search engine spiders so as to enable them to build an appropriate site wide index, etc.
• Reviewing and analysing client sites for arears that can be improved and optimized.
• Preparing detailed strategy reports identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic.
• Keep updated on SEO strategies to stay within search engine guidelines.
• Developing link building strategies.
• Writing effective SEO content for blogs, website, and social media accounts.
• Experience with website optimization.
• Familiarization of Google analytics.
• Working knowledge of knowledge of search engine optimization.
• Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
• Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization.
• Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success.
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content programming. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Identify powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic.
• Prepare regular reports that interpret consumer behaviour, market opportunities/conditions, marketing results, trends, and investment levels.
