Service Technician (Hydraulics, Circuitry and Components), Witbank - Ref: 1197624-3

Our client requires the services of a qualified Artisan to perform trouble-shooting, with the ability to install small bore piping, service hydraulic systems and initiative to develop service work through sales and service excellence.
The successful incumbent will hold a recognised trade certificate together with a strong technical background with good general knowledge of hydraulics, circuitry and components and quality standards.

Position details:

Identify problems and sell solutions.
Servicing and testing of sophisticated hydraulic systems.
The inspection, maintenance, servicing & commissioning of hydraulic systems.
Attending to breakdowns promptly.
Negotiation and proposing solutions to meet customers’ requirements.
Provide technical support to sales staff and clients.
Maintain up to date knowledge of our hydraulic product range.
Customer relations and communication & follow ups.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

A recognized trade certificate.
A code 8 driver’s license.
A strong technical background with good general knowledge of hydraulics, circuitry and components and quality standards.
Passionate about servicing customers.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Willing to relocate to Witbank.
