SUMMARY

Our client in the Banking industry is looking for a settlement administrator. The incumbent will be responsible for the daily processing of all off-market transactions. The processing of off-market transactions involves close coordination between different service providers and 3rd parties. These include CSDP’s, external brokers and portfolio managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Liaise with Portfolio Managers about off-market transactions and the processing thereof
Take responsibility for performing the administrative steps required in the off-market portfolio and account transfers and the updating of BDA
Administer share incentive scheme off-market transfers
Administer offshore off-market transfers
Perform monthly reconciliations of various share incentive scheme accounts.
Perform portfolio transfer statistics.
Liaise with CSDP’s
Balancing of CSDP reconciliations
Perform internal portfolio and account transfers
Perform journal entries
Be a backup to the Scip Administrator.
Provide operational support in the processing of multi-asset class portfolio transactions when required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric / Grade 12
JSE settlement officer exam an advantage
BDA experience, minimum three years
