Our client, based in Wellington, in the Boland, is a medium-sized civil construction company that carries out a wide range of civil construction works. The company’s clients include the private sector, government, local authorities and municipalities. They have urgent vacancy for a Site Agent who should meet the following requirements: A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering works; a minimum of 5 years relevant site management experience which should include underground civil services; road construction and concrete works; knowledge of HDPE, GRP and Ductile Iron pipelines will be an advantage; as well as understanding of General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works (GCC) and SABS 1200. The successful candidate should have natural leadership abilities and be able to manage people.
