Site Agent/Snr Site Agent - Industrial/Commercial Building (Gauteng) - Johannesburg
My client a Building Construction company based in Gauteng is looking for qualified SITE AGENT/SNR SITE AGENT – BUILDING with a sound knowledge of Industrial/Commercial building contracts (NOT HOUSING). You would have worked for recognised companies for 5 years or more.

SITE AGENT – BUILDING

Description:

The position is responsible for the delivery of a construction project in particular Buildings in particular Industrial/Commercial Structures, etc. ensuring profitable, on time and quality completion thereof.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and controls the activities of site staff and agreed quality standards set out in contract.
• Liaises with clients, site staff and agreed quantities programmes etc.
• Sets and maintains production targets and operates within prescribed budgets.
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Sets and maintains work sequences and construction programmes.

Skills, Experience & Education:
• BSc / BTech Construction Management / Civil Eng. Degree or Diploma.
• A minimum of 10 years Building construction experience.
• The applicant must have leadership qualities and be innovative.
• Must have a keen eye for detail and keep a strong hand on wastage and quality.
