Reports to the Head of Finance and responsibilities will include, amongst others, the following:
Be a part of the IFRS 17 implementation projection.
Analysis of multiple foreign subsidiary management accounts and financial statements
Manage, develop and build a culture of a high-performance team. (5 Direct Reports)
Processing of foreign subsidiary financial results in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
Preparation of monthly financial reports and commentary
Provide end to end financial management support to businesses outside of South Africa
Assist with cluster financial consolidation

Assist with implementation of new systems and processes in businesses
Management of divisional costs
Management of IT project cost models
Assistance and preparation of budgets (subsidiaries, Associates)

Qualified CA(SA) with 5 to 7 years post qualification experience;

Fluency in French
Experience in the Emerging Markets environment will be an advantage
HFM experience will be an added advantage
Good working knowledge of IFRS standards
Basic understanding of actuarial numbers will be an advantage
