Our client requires the services of a Software Developer to assist with the responsibility of design, analyzing and development of their current brand of software products.

Key performance areas:

? Designing, implementing and maintaining of current software programs.
? Testing and evaluating current or new programs.
? Writing and implementing efficient code, also ensure documentation is up to date.
? Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.
? Deploying and maintaining current instances of software on servers.
? Keep system dependencies up to date and integrate new dependencies.

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Diploma/Degree in computer science/BEng
? 3 – 5 Years relevant work experience
? Experience in software development within a web-development environment
? Experience with test automation (e.g. TDD)
? Knowledge of Agile software development processes will be advantageous
? Experience and knowledge in the latest technologies such as:
o Phython (Django)
o JavaScript/TypeScript (React)
o Knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks
? Mature, motivated, enthusiastic and a fast learner
? Must have the ability to learn new technologies quickly
? Must be able to work independently and as part of the team and have good communication skills
? Must be analytical, detail orientated and have good problem solving skills
