Spa Manager

Location: Cedarberg, Western Cape
Salary: R180k per annum plus benefits

About the Role:
Opportunity available for a Spa Manager at a luxury reserve based in the Cedarberg. Accommodation provided at no cost, 50% medical and pension contribution, wifi and laundry

Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a 5* spa environment in a therapy role
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role
Must have Cidesco and ITEC qualifications
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience of a Spa Management System; exposure to Tata Harper and Elemis Product Houses advantageous
Excellent command of the English language with solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Proven experience with stock control, budgets, cost control, general administration and ability to do revenue reports
Proven experience with training and protocols
Able to work flexible working hours; shifts, weekends, public holidays, extended hours to accommodate the changing needs of the business

Duties:
To support and manage the Spa in the day-to-day operation; being actively present
Ensure a guest satisfaction check of every guest within the department; dealing with any concerns and complaints in accordance with company service recovery guidelines
Adhere to the health and safety requirements of the Spa in accordance with SOP
Operating Equipment is correctly managed to ensure sufficient stock and minimal breakages.
Managing of 3-4 Therapists and 2 Spa Attendants
Training Manual to be developed to make it easy to train all new staff members
Assist all staff members and spa clients in spa services and business transactions
Implementing all procedures and systems with regards to guest satisfaction from telephone etiquette, scheduling f appointments, time management, opening and closing and daily duties for all staff – to be checked
Guest’s complaints to be followed up on and dealt with – log all complaints etc
Checking appointment schedules to avoid any mistakes
