This team is looking for a vibrant Sportsbook Call Centre Agent who will provide quality telephone or e-mail service to customers with regards to online sports betting. Your key job responsibilities as the Sportsbook Call Centre Agent in Johannesburg will include:

- Provide telephonic and e-mail service and support to customers who place on -line sports bets
- Provide advice to customers who place online sports bets
- Respond to technical and/or account related queries raised by customers
- Research required information by using available resources e.g. sport shows on television, to adequately respond to queries
- Liaise with other departments (e.g. trading; finance) to ensure customer queries are resolved
- Escalate complex queries to line manager
- Deliver prepared scripts to welcome new customers and explains promotions and requirements of on-boarding process to customers
- Accurately on-board new customers by opening betting accounts
- Follow up on outstanding FICA documents to allow for successful on-boarding of customers, verify proof of payment received from customers and credits customers’ online accounts accordingly
- Processes deposits to customers’ online accounts

Requirements for this Sportsbook Call Centre Agent job in Johannesburg:

- Matric
- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience working in call centres (essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a betting environment (preferred)
- Required to work shifts
- Customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of the rules of a wide variety of sports
- Understanding of odds and betting
- Fully computer literate
